Discover the rich tapestry of Haywards Heath’s history through the lens of time!

This captivating exhibition on daily  (except the 25th and 27th) fron 9am to 5pm

Sunday's 11am to 4pm

at the Town Hall until the 30th of June juxtaposes vintage photographs with their contemporary counterparts, offering a unique glimpse into the town’s evolution. Wander through the corridors of memory, where black and white yesteryears meet vibrant present-day scenes.

 Everyone is welcome so bring your family, friends, and curiosity.

Myths and Tales from the Sussex Landscape

An evening of performance storytelling with Jason Buck 

Join award-winning storyteller Jason Buck to hear tales of Sussex brought to life, where giants, dragons and ogres used to roam the hills and countryside of Sussex.

As part of the Haywards Heath Arts Festival 2024, Jason has been invited to bring a storytelling show to the Hop Sun microbrewery and taproom. Enjoy a drink and a snack, sit back and immerse yourself in the wonders of the best storytelling you'll have heard since childhood.

Jason Buck, a seasoned performer, has enchanted audiences across the UK and mainland Europe. His passion lies in stories, where the vivid pictures in your mind surpass any film. Jason has published four collections of his own stories, won silver at the prestigious “Grand Annual Lying Festival,” and earned the title of “Best Bard” at Profound Decisions’ “Theatre of Joy and Sorrow.”

An Evening With Graham Bartlett

Haywards Heath Town Hall is the place to be this evening for an engaging talk by local author Graham Bartlett.

Graham, known for his Sunday Times Top Ten bestseller ‘Death Comes Knocking’, will delve into the thrilling world of crime fiction.

Discover the secrets behind his hugely successful novels, including ‘Bad for Good’, ‘Force of Hate’, and the upcoming release ‘City on Fire’.

As a police procedural and crime advisor, Graham injects authenticity into his work, helping other authors and TV writers.

Art Exhibition

Burgess Hill Musical Theatre Society

Our friends from BHMTS will be in the Orchards Shopping Centre from 11:30 this morning showcasing there upcoming production of

'Kipps - The New Half a Sixpence'.

The show runs from the 24th to the 27th of July 2024 at the New Bury Theatre in Hurstpierpoint but you can get an early preview of some of the songs from the show this morning.
